About the Association
A community for authentic Dharma practice
Dudjom Krodikali Association is a Buddhist community centred on the Dudjom Tersar tradition of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. Members gather to study, meditate and take part in the practices this lineage has carried for generations.
The association was initiated under the guidance of Dungsey Garab Dorje Rinpoche, whose teaching supports Dharma study, meditation, traditional practice, retreats, ceremonies and the everyday life of the community.
Our Story
A community formed around Dharma practice
Dudjom Krodikali Association arose from the Dharma activity and guidance of Dungsey Garab Dorje Rinpoche within the Dudjom Tersar tradition of the Nyingma school.
The association was established to bring practitioners together around the practice of Chöd and the wider path of Dharma — creating a community where teachings can be heard, practice can be maintained and the living connection between teacher and student can continue.
Rather than approaching Buddhism only as philosophy or cultural heritage, the association places practice at the centre of community life. Members gather for meditation, sadhana, traditional observances, teachings, retreats and other Dharma activities according to guidance and circumstance.
Today the association represents both preservation and participation: preserving a precious spiritual tradition while creating meaningful ways for people to practise it in contemporary life.
Our Purpose
Why we exist
Preserve
To help preserve the Dudjom Tersar lineage, its teachings and its traditions of practice with respect for their authentic transmission.
Practise
To create supportive opportunities for meditation, sadhana, Chöd, Tshok and other appropriate Dharma activities.
Connect
To bring practitioners together around shared spiritual values, mutual support and connection with the lineage.
Carry Forward
To help younger generations and future practitioners encounter Dharma in a way that remains meaningful without separating it from its traditional foundations.
Beyond the Ceremony
Practice does not end when a ceremony ends
The purpose of Buddhist practice is not limited to gatherings, ritual or study. Qualities cultivated through Dharma — awareness, compassion, patience, generosity, ethical conduct and responsibility — are carried into family life, work and relationships with others.
Community practice provides a place to return to these principles together. Through regular contact with teachings and fellow practitioners, the Dharma becomes part of the rhythm of everyday life rather than something encountered only on special occasions.

What Guides Us
Our values
Respect for the teachings and their transmission.
Cultivating concern for others in thought and action.
Giving Dharma a lived expression through consistent application.

Helping preserve the lineage for future generations.

Our Roots
Connected to Rangjung
Rangjung in Trashigang, eastern Bhutan, is an important centre of Dungsey Garab Dorje Rinpoche's Dharma activity.
Rangjung Woesel Chöling Monastery was founded by Rinpoche in 1989 to provide a conducive environment for the study and practice of Buddha Dharma according to the Dudjom New Treasure lineage and to support Dharma activity for the wider Buddhist community.
